Most recently, we hopped on a plane and traveled to Colombia, seeking an escape, but what we found was more fulfilling.

We started the trip in Cartagena, a small and colorful port town lined with florescent-colored homes and super generous people. A couple of days there will make anyone fall in love with its real world charm. Trying to get out of the city, we traveled to Santa Marta, using the small historic town as a hub to Tayrona Park and Minca. Let's just say the latter half of the trip got us back in touch with nature. In Minca, we learned a ton about the cacao tree and its purpose to the community. Not only does it bring food to the community, it becomes a source of income for them. Needless to say, the experience reminded us why we are doing this in the first place.

Leaving Colombia, we're refreshed and aligned. Here's to an amazing 2015!
